What distinguishes me from other Realtors?
The number one complaint from both homebuyers and sellers
is that Realtors don't return their phone calls. A lot of Realtors
"talk" about customer service while failing at simple
tasks like being prompt with returning a phone call. I respect your
time, and if you have taken the time to call or e-mail, I assure
you I am extremely prompt in returning your call and addressing
your needs.
Focussed on you and your needs, not the deal
A number of realtors will try to sell you anything.
If I think a property is too expensive and the seller is not budging,
we'll walk away from it. If an offer comes in too low, and the buyer
doesn't budge, we'll reject the offer. A number of realtors are
focussed on "closing" the deal. I am focussed on you,
my client and that you must live with the decisions you make long
after the deal has closed.
After the deal
Another realtor's client once called me in panic,
his realtor was on vacation, the sale of his home was about to close,
and a few things relating to the sale were left unfinished! I follow
up with my clients on a regular basis before and after the deal
closes. If there's a problem or concern, I want to know about it.
Making a choice
- Think about what the Realtors told you, and ask
yourself:
- Did they seem trustworthy and honest?
- Were they realistic when discussing your home
purchase?
- Did they communicate well? Were you on "the
same page"?
- Did they appreciate the opportunity to earn your
business?
- Were they committed, knowledgeable and
motivated?
I pride myself in the fact that
homeowners place tremendous trust in me by allowing me to assist
